Auric Wave Valley is a software development company. We design and build consumer apps — multiple products, each one aimed at a specific need people actually have, rather than a single platform that tries to be everything.
We started from a simple observation: most of the friction in a day isn't big. It's the shopping list living in three places, the free trial that quietly became a subscription, the calendar nobody else can see. None of it is hard to fix. It just needs software built with restraint — one clear purpose, no clutter, and nothing asking for attention it hasn't earned.
So we work in small, focused releases. Every app we ship has to do one job properly, open fast on the phone you already own, and be understood without instructions. We collect only the data an app needs to work, and we don't use dark patterns to keep you inside it. If something we build can't earn a place on your home screen, we'd rather fix it or drop it than pad it out with features.
We're a small team, deliberately — it keeps the decisions close to both the code and the people using it. Our aim over time is a family of apps that share one standard: quiet, quick, and genuinely useful on an ordinary Tuesday.
How we work
Three commitments we hold to.
One job, done properly
An app that does one thing well beats a suite that does ten things adequately. We'd rather ship another app than crowd an existing one.
Fast on the phone you have
Performance is a feature. Our apps are built to open instantly and work offline, on mid-range hardware and older devices, not just the newest.
Your data stays yours
We ask for the minimum an app needs to function, keep as much as possible on your device, and never sell it. Export is always available.
